Climate Innovation is excited to announce that applications for the second year of the Young Climate Leaders of Color (YCLC) Program now open through September 22, 2023!
Building on the on-going successful inaugural year, the YCLC program fosters the growth of young leaders of color in the climate advocacy sector. Offering a stipend, mentorship, training, and a platform to voice their ideas, the initiative aims to bring diverse perspectives to the forefront of the climate and environmental justice conversation.
The first year witnessed incredible accomplishments by our participants. From Dionna Brown on panels to Mazzi Ingram tackling fast fashion, the young leaders have demonstrated the power of inclusivity. The program's success highlights the importance of diverse voices in shaping a more sustainable and just world.
We are seeking passionate individuals between the ages of 18 to 28, who identify as persons of color and are committed to climate action.
