Building on significant progress from 2025, Climate Innovation is moving forward with renewed vigor and a clear vision. We are incredibly proud of our team's dedication to remaining responsive and impactful in a complex and polarized environment. This period marks a pivotal moment to expand our successes, align fully with our three-year strategic plan, and redefine our pathways to lasting impact. Join us as we realign, firmly grounded in community-driven planning essential for advancing real solutions and achieving maximum positive change.
As you explore this report, keep our pathways to impact (people power, manifesting abundance, and expanding impact) in mind. We define impact as building sustainable, self-determined infrastructures and solutions while transforming oppressive systems, and ensuring intergenerational financial literacy to carry forward new systems. Investing in and reinvesting in frontline communities is the throughline for a sustainable future. Recognizing that all work requires resources, our approach actively demystifies the socially constructed myth of scarcity to actualize our abundance reality. We are a community-driven hub that, while not a funding intermediary, is a capacity-building conduit transforming resource flow toward resource independence.

Pathways to Impact
People Power: Climate Innovation builds networks of leaders, experts, organizations, and the next generation of frontline community climate leaders to advance effective, community-driven climate resilience solutions. Through core programs, partnerships, consultation, and the Community-Driven Climate Resilience Planning framework, we mobilize, build capacity, enhance strategic partnerships, and build a movement with national climate justice leaders who prioritize community-centered solutions.
Manifesting Abundance: Achieving just climate solutions requires increased investment in intergenerational capacity for community-led stewardship, governance, and ownership of climate action resources, solutions, and infrastructure. This investment necessitates both resource access and the capacity, tools, and infrastructure for effective management. Climate Innovation, through reinvestment, co-governance, and stewardship, equips climate justice leaders with the methods to manage and direct resources to historically disinvested and under-resourced communities.
Expanding Impact: Expanding impact means advancing community-driven climate resilience planning approaches locally and nationally as standard practice for planning and policy-making. By increasing power, ownership, and decision-making among frontline communities towards equitable climate resilience and action, Climate Innovation’s approaches significantly reduce the social, economic, and environmental burden.
